ZTE officially unveiled the ZMAX Pro at an event on Monday in New York. The device is the latest in the company’s budget-friendly smartphone series and the first to bring a fingerprint scanner to the lineup.

The ZMAX Pro also features a 6-inch 1080p display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a hefty 3400mAh battery, a Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage and a USB-C charging port. It runs Android Marshmallow out of the box.

The new smartphone is available for pre-order now from MetroPCS for just $99 (once you factor in an instant rebate), and it launches on August 1. The carrier is also offering a free leather case for the first 5,000 pre-orders.

The ZMAX Pro looks like a pretty sweet device, especially considering that crazy low price. We’ll have hands-on coverage with the new smartphone coming up soon so stay tuned for that.
