Hmm.. phablets seem to have been reserved for Android most recently, thanks to the likes of the LG Vu, the Galaxy Note and Note II and several others. But now it appears the genre could spread its wings into the Windows Phone world.

ZTE's marketing head Lu Qian Hao recently spilled the beans on a device that apparently has a 5.9-inch screen by posting the above image to Weibo, China's equivalent of Twitter. The phone apparently packs a full 1920 x 1080-pixel display, DTS audio support and more. As Engadget notes, however, Windows Phone 8 doesn't support 1920 x 1080 resolution displays yet; the platform is instead limited to screens with 1280 x 768, 1280 x 720 and WVGA resolutions. Plus, the logo on the backside of the phone was used for Windows Phone 7.

Maybe we'll see this come to fruition some day another form, who knows?
