The YotaPhone 2 arrived in the U.S. via Indiegogo on Tuesday morning. Now, just a few hours later the dual-screen smartphone has already passed its $50,000 crowd-funding goal.

That’s good news for anyone hoping to try out the device. With the necessary funding already secure, Yota can start manufacturing the smartphone to fill Indiegogo orders. Then again, it’s possible that an overload of interest could push the shipping date back slightly.

Of course, the YotaPhone 2 has already been out for a while in Europe and a few other regions. The company isn’t starting from scratch with its U.S. launch, though it’s still jumping into a pretty big new market. The Indiegogo campaign isn’t even limited to American shoppers, so there’s no way to know exactly how many orders come from the country.

It’s also no surprise that the company’s most generous early bird discount is already gone. However, you can still pre-order a YotaPhone 2 for just $525 as long as you do it within the first 48 hours. After that the price will go up to $550, which is still cheaper than the official $600 market price.
