Sega has released two lengthy clips for their upcoming Yakuza 5. We're sure they're completely foreign, not just literally, to those of you who have never played a Yakuza game.

First of all, shame on you! Yakuza games are fantastic; they're a great chunk of overblown Japanese culture and a wonderful host to fun gameplay elements. Second of all, it's time for you to pony up and find an entry in the series. You'll need a PlayStation, though.

They're both in Japanese, if you haven't already started watching them, but they do represent a great slice of what Yakuza's all about: doing stuff, man. Doing stuff.

The clip above features the game's new hunting element. In the scene they show, players will be placed in a snowy environment. The cold actually deteriorates your health, so hunt quickly.

Here's the second clip, where fans catch a look at the cab driving segments in action. Notice that players will actually get experience points for driving well, not hitting pedestrians and delivering their patrons quickly.

Yakuza 5 will release for the PlayStation 3 in Japan this December. It has not been confirmed for an international release yet. We'll be all over it if and when that happens.
