Sony is expected to reveal the Xperia Z5 family in just a few short days, but it looks like one employee just couldn’t wait. A new video shows a member of the company’s French marketing team going over the new smartphones in great detail. Of course, the entire video is in French, but we’ve got all the info in English right here.

Sony is expected to reveal the Xperia Z5 along with a smaller Z5 Compact and a larger phablet, allegedly called the Z5 Premium. All three devices are set to pack an upgraded 23-megapixel rear camera with faster auto-focus, a Snapdragon 810 processor, a fingerprint reader, microUSB and a water-resistant coating. We also get a close look at the design, which is pretty sleek even if it’s not a huge change from the Xperia Z4.

The same Sony exec also claims to confirm one rumored feature for the Xperia Z5 Premium. The device will apparently offer a 4K resolution display, though it won’t lose out on battery life as a result. The employee adds that the screen will automatically adjust based on what you’re viewing, so you only get the full 4K experience when you actually need it.

We’re curious to find out how well this feature actually works, though we shouldn’t have to wait much longer to get our hands on the device. Sony has a press event set for September 2, meaning the Xperia Z5 should be official in just a few more days.
