The Xperia Z4 is expected to look pretty similar to last year’s Z3, at least according to the latest renders, but a newly leaked case for the upcoming Sony smartphone suggests its design will be tweaked at least a little bit.

The case, which was obtained by Polish site Galaktyczny, reveals a few possible differences between the Xperia Z4 and the Z3. First, it looks like the microUSB slot will be relegated to the bottom of the device. Meanwhile, the magnetic charging port appears to be missing in action, though hopefully the device is just as waterproof as its predecessor.

The Xperia Z4 is also expected to pack a 1080p display, a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 20-megapixel rear camera, and a 4.8-megapixel front-facing shooter. It’s also set to run Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out of the box along with some of Sony’s own extra software and apps.

We’re still big fans of the Xperia Z3, but with a yearlong wait for the Z4 we’re hoping for more than a few hardware upgrades and a slight design refresh. Hopefully Sony has something big to surprise us with, or the Xperia lineup could end up in even more trouble than it already is.
