We’ve already gotten a pretty good look at Sony’s alleged upcoming flagship phone, but a new video posted to YouTube appears to give us an early walkthrough of the Xperia Z2‘s updated UI. Our leaker makes it clear that this isn’t the final version of Sony’s new Android skin, but it should still give us a good idea of what to expect from the device when it launches later this year.

The video offers a quick walkthrough of Sony’s software, starting at the lock screen and moving through several screens and applications. We get a glimpse at some new Xperia themes for the handset, and a look at the camera and photo applications. There’s also an updated Walkman widget accessible from the lock screen, allowing you to control the music player app with a simple swipe to the right.

Unfortunately, today’s leak doesn’t offer any new information on the physical device itself, beyond one close-up shot that appears to confirm it will sport some decent-sized bezels. Based on previous leaks the Xperia Z2 is expected to feature a 5.3-inch display, a 23-megapixel main camera, and to come in five color options at launch.

We won’t know anything until Sony makes an official announcement, but based on the company’s recent rapid-fire product cycle it may not be long before the Xperia Z2 receives an official unveiling.
