The 3DS remaster of Xenoblade Chronicles, the cult-classic Japanese RPG that originally hit the Nintendo Wii back in 2010, now has a release date.

Today during Nintendo's latest Nintendo Direct presentation, we looked at a new trailer for the game that showed off some more gameplay and cut scene footage from the game.

While the Wii U sequel, Xenoblade Chronicles X, is currently set to hit sometime later this year, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is much, much closer: The game will hit 3DS in just over a week on April 10.

Remember, though, that Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is exclusive to the New Nintendo 3DS, so it will not work on older 3DS models.
