Microsoft came out roaring at its E3 2016 press conference with the brand new Xbox One S model. The console will be 40 percent smaller and sports a smaller, sleeker controller, 2 TB hard drive, and will crank out 4K screen resolution.

And, best of all, it can be stood up vertically when played. Nice.

Xbox Studios head Phil Spencer kicked off with the announcement, also confirming that the new model will be available in August for $299. Beating Sony way out of the door on that one.
