Say what you want about the Xbox One and Microsoft's pre-release drum up, but the company has definitely been pretty solid with responding to feedback and making real changes in firmware updates.

We wanted a battery status display and storage counter? We got them in an update. Now, Microsoft has announced that we'll be getting two more major features for the Xbox One in June.

First up is external storage. The Xbox One will accept any external hard drives with at least 256GB of space and USB 3.0 capabilities. You can even have multiple external devices, if that's something you're in to.

Next is the inclusion of real names. Once the June update rolls out and you fire up the Friends app on your Xbox One, you'll be asked if you want to add your real name to your Gamertag. You'll then be asked if you want to share that with no one, some friends or all friends.

Both features, it's worth noting, were available on the PlayStation 4 at launch.

What about the update are you looking forward to most?
