It's easy to lose sight of, but beneath all the controversy surrounding Microsoft's upcoming Xbox One console, the console does rock some excellent looking video games. Microsoft has a brand new trailer designed to remind us all that it walked away from E3 with a solid looking line-up.
The new trailer doesn't show anything new or amazing, but it's a bold statement backed by some great looking games. Granted, most of them are mutliplatform, but the exclusive titles do ring a few bells. Killer Instinct, Titanfall, Dead Rising 3, and Forza Motorsport 5 all look fantastic, and several didn't make the cut like Insomniac's Sunset Overdrive.
With the controversial aspects of the Xbox One dropping like flies, is it now possible to look beyond the dust and see the Xbox One as a console which puts games first? If you think so, give me an honest opinion about the line-up without any commentary on the console itself. If you still can't feel like you can be unbiased because of sour grapes, then give it a try anyway.
The trailer is a firm and solid reminder that Microsoft is in this to stay and has the backing power to do so.
