The final DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was recently revealed to be a New Game Plus mode. While we’re still waiting on a release date, CD Projekt Red’s community lead Marcin Momot explained a bit about what we can expect.

“Enemies will be stronger, obviously,” said Momot in a post to The Witcher‘s official forums. Your level will carry over, though anyone below 30 will see themselves boosted up to that as the lower limit. Money, recipes, and arms and armor will make the jump as well. Players will find their Gwent collection emptied out, however, and none of the books, letters, usable items or trophies the player possesses at the end of the game will make the jump either.

As a bonus, players will get a free “Clearing Potion,” an item that lets you clear out all your assigned skills and reassign them from scratch so that you can try out a different build.

When you start over, you’ll be able to select any difficulty level you want with the difficulty level appropriately ramped up from its standard New Game variant.

There are tons of games coming out this fall – huge ones – but it’s going to be tough to resist starting The Witcher 3 over again when this final DLC drops in the near future.
