It's been rumored, sighted, and talked about for quite some time now, but LG has finally officially confirmed the existence of a white Nexus 4. Availability will begin on May 29th in Hong Kong before its worldwide release in the "coming weeks."

This new White Nexus 4 will still come equipped with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, so don't expect a huge leap in performance. This is just a color change.

All of the original specs are bound for this new model including a 4.7-inch display with a 768 × 1280-pixel resolution, a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon processor and 2GB of RAM.

"Nexus 4 set the standard for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean smartphones," said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Mobile Communications Company. "Nexus 4 White delivers the same Google experience to consumers in a stylish and attractive color option."

No further dates, storage sizes or availability options have been announced yet. Expect more news in the coming weeks as the American release crawls closer.
