How to watch Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 in your country
If you want to watch Episode 6 in the US, UK, Canada, India, Australia or New Zealand, we have you covered. We've found all of your best options and broken down the details below.
If you're in the US, watching the Game of Thrones finale will be the simplest. But if you've accidentally booked a vacation, or aren't based in the US, all hope is not lost. You will find that watching Game of Thrones using your home service provider may not be an option due to geo-blocking. This means that broadcasters will try and stop you from watching it when you're in another country, putting up virtual blocks that prevent you from doing so.
Thankfully, there's a way around this. By using a VPN, you'll be able to catch up on the show as it airs live. This works by changing your IP address – an internet address that defines your location – to a location in the country where you live, allowing you to catch up with all the action.
We've tested hundreds of VPNs and we recommend NordVPN to get around the region restrictions and watch Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 as it airs live!
Watch in the U.S.
If you're in the U.S., catching Game of Thrones is the easiest by far. HBO is the official broadcaster in the U.S. meaning you'll need an HBO subscription to watch the show.
Here's how to add HBO to your streaming provider of choice:
Thankfully HBO offers a free trial which will allow you to watch Episode 6 for free! Of course, you'll want to keep the subscription so you don't miss the all-important final episode, but at a cost of $14.99 and with other shows such as Billions, Ballers, Silicon Valley and more, there's plenty of awesome content to watch if you do keep your subscription.
In the US, Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 airs at 9pm Eastern / 6pm Pacific on Sunday, May 19.
Watch in the U.K.
While watching Game of Thrones live is a bit of a stretch for many U.K. viewers thanks to the time difference, you can still pull it off. Of course, if you don't want to stay up until 2 a.m., you can also stream it once you wake up in the morning.
Sky Atlantic is the only option for U.K. viewers who are dedicated to staying up late and watching the show live. It can be a bit pricy, starting at £22 per month, but you are getting those sweet Dragonfire moments as soon as they air.
For less intense fans who are willing to wait a bit longer, there is a second option. Now TV offers a free 7-day trial, which can let you watch the show after the initial airdate. You can also pick up a subscription for three months at £17.99 per month, which is a 25% savings compared to regular fees.
In the UK, Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 airs at 2am on Monday, May 20.

Crave is available as an add-on to TV packages from cable companies. However, you can also snag a membership for $19.98 each month. Just remember that you'll need the upgraded package option to access HBO. Unfortunately, Crave doesn't offer free trials, but the company will throw in a free month if you purchase a subscription.

In Australia, Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 airs at 11am on Monday, May 20.
Watch in New Zealand
New Zealand fans of Game of Thrones have to go to SoHo to stay up-to-date with all the action. A premium channel on Sky, SoHo doesn't do trial subscriptions so you'll need to sign up in order to watch the next episode of Game Of Thrones.
Subscriptions to SoHo start as low as $24.91 per month depending on the package you include, and HBO is an available add-on when you sign up for a package.

What's happened in Game of Thrones Season 8 so far?
If you've missed Game of Thrones Season 8 and don't have time to watch it but want to know what happened, here's a quick look at the whole season so far:
Game of Thrones is finally coming to an end and there's a lot we still need to wrap up in the seaon finale. The Starks and the Targaryens first met up in Winterfell at the start of the season for the Battle of Winterfell against the Night King and the White Walkers. They were able to defeat the oncoming horde from the North by taking out the Night King, but that still left their enemies in the South. In the latter half of the season, the group, led by Daenerys and Jon Snow, traveled to King's Landing to face Cersei in the battle for the Iron Throne. However, inner strife and politics surrounding the future of the kingdom, Jon's parentage and claim to the throne, and questions about loyalty all led to a horrifying bloodbath as Daenerys burned up the whole kingdom, innocents at all. She stands to take the Iron Throne, but will that be the end of it?
