When Will We See iPhone 5? What the Verizon iPhone Means for the Release Cycle (video)

Okay, yay, Verizon got the iPhone … now what?

Normally Apple announces a new iPhone in June, and it ships in July.  Thus is the way of the world, but what happens now that Verizon is getting an iPhone in Feb.?  Will AT&T get a new phone in July, and Verizon next Feb.?

Will both companies get a new phone in July, meaning those who rush to be first to get a Verizon iPhone get hosed when a new model comes out only five months into their contract?

Will the summer 2011 release be skipped all together?  (yeah … right … like Apple would ever skip a chance to collect more money from the faithful.)

It’s all well and good that Verizon finally got the phone, but it raises almost more questions than it answered, so now we’re left wondering what will happen, and a whole new round of speculation begins.
