Sony Dash: Personal Internet Viewer – Hands On

by Jon Rettinger | January 18, 2010

While at CES we got to spend some time with Sony’s new personal internet viewer, the Dash.  This alarm clock looking device features a 7″ capacitive touchscreen, an app store (they licensed Chumby’s apps, so there will be 1,000+ available at launch), and a strange chubby design.  I’m not sure who the target market for this is, but it did work well, and was fun to play with, although It’s certain to lose it’s luster after the first day.  Regardless, it can be yours in April for $199.  Anyone waiting in line?
