We played the ScreamRide demo, and it shows lots of promise

The ScreamRide demo is out right now on the Xbox One and Xbox 360. It’s free to download if you’re a Gold subscriber. We snapped it up yesterday and recorded some footage. We put that together with our thoughts and, well, here we are.

The demo features one level across the three modes that make up ScreamRide. You’ll ride a pre-built coaster for points, destroy an area with a sling and build your own coaster in order to scare people.

As you’ll hear me say a few times over the course of the clip, this game has surprised me with how well it runs and how fun it is. I was excited for the chance to try ScreamRide, but now I’m excited to actually own it.

ScreamRide will launch for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on March 3, 2015.
