Rover Puck Unboxing: 4G Hotspot

According to the folks who manufactured the product themselves, “Puck around town with friends and connect up to eight laptops and Wi-Fi devices on your personal, high-speed Wi-Fi hotspot. You and your crew can stream media together, game online, check in at your favorite social networks, or cruise the Web on the fly.”

The devices claims to be very portable, allowing you to take your Wi-Fi Hotspot with you wherever you go.  As well, you can give your friends access to the “Rover Puck”.  Up to 8 Wi-Fi devices can connect to the hotspot at once.

Other claimed features include:

  • “3-6 Mbps Download and Up to 1 Mbps Upload”
  • “1.6 lbs and fits in your pocket”
  • “Re-juiceable battery with up to 4 hours of go time”
