Polaroid E9.7 Hands On: Polaroid is Getting Serious About Tablets

by Aaron Baker | January 11, 2013

Probably one of the biggest surprises of CES 2013 was Polaroid’s lineup of competitive Android tablets, which we took a look at earlier today. And there’s more. They’re not necessarily designed to blow back anyone’s hair, but they’re competitively spec’d with price tags that are definitely consumer friendly. And better yet, they’re equipped with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, like the Polaroid E9.7.

We only spent a brief moment with the E9.7, but it didn’t seem half bad. Jelly Bean soared thanks to the 1.6GHz dual-core processor, and the screen (which has a 4:3 format) looked great. The device itself is just 9.8mm thick, so it’s not too hefty for lugging around town (or the house) despite its larger screen. There’s no price attached, but we’d imagine it’ll be nice on the wallet.
