Sony finally unveiled what the PlayStation 4 would like at E3 this week in Los Angeles, and we had a chance to get up close with one to see how it looks. The console itself looks a bit like a 3-ring binder, but seeing as it will be in some dark corner near your television, it really shouldn’t matter much.
The controller, the piece of a console you interact with the most, on the other hand is impressive from the outset. While we didn’t get to control a game with it, I did get to spend some time with it in my hands, and it feels considerably more comfortable than the DualShock 2 did. The buttons have great throw to them, and everything seems to be in easy reach so as not to impede your playing.
At $399, $100 less than the Xbox One, Microsoft is going to have a tough time on its hands when this holiday season rolls around.
