Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is the next big update in Google’s growing army. Designed to be faster, smoother and cleaner, the next iteration comes with a number of pretty substantial improvements, including new notifications, a better camera application, Google Search and Google Now, among other features. Despite its .1 increase, Google has managed to make the experience fresh with a more refined software architecture — an endeavor Google dubbed Project Butter. And of course, running Google’s new fangled OS is the Nexus 7, which we unboxed earlier. There’s quite a bit to go over, which we initially covered here, and now that Jelly Bean is in our hands, we’ve had a quick taste test to see if this new flavor of Android is a worthy update.
