I get the latest Droid out of its box and into my hands. The Droid X2 adds dual-core firepower to the Droid X design: Big 4.3-inch qHD display, 8MP camera with HD video capture, and Verizon’s network. No front-facing camera and no LTE mean we’re not quite sure if this will be the Droid for Noah … let’s find out.
Available now online, and in stores on May 26th, Droid X2 will run a cool $199.99 on contract from Verizon Wireless. Is that too much to ask for a phone that lacks LTE? Or, are a dual-core chipset and a promise of Android 2.3 enough to ask if you don’t live in a VZW LTE coverage area? Let us know if you’re interested in Droid X2 or holding out for a 4G-ready beast like Thunderbolt or Droid Charge instead.
