Let’s Play Transistor – Beauty in Combat

by Joey Davidson | May 22, 2014May 22, 2014 11:30 am EST

Transistor is a beautiful little game. Everything’s done up in a hand drawn style, and the whole thing runs in a gorgeous and seamless 1080p. Not that resolution means everything, but Transistor looks very, very good.

This title just dropped for the PlayStation 4 and PC this week. It’s selling for $20, and, so far, it’s been worth the semi-budget price.

There’s complexity in the combat and leveling up that will likely make Transistor a little less accessible than Bastion, Supergiant’s first effort, but the game is darn good once we get through that.

I’m still learning, as you’ll see above.
