Lenovo Skylight: Hands On

Thin and light laptops were quite the rage at CES, and the upcoming Lenovo Skylight was by far the thinnest and lightest.   Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (same as the HD2, and Nexus One) and a custom Linux OS, this little guy was surprisingly powerful, able to show HD video at a more than acceptable rate, and handle multitasking with relative ease.  Weighing in at under 2lbs, it’s 10″ screen was bright and vibrant and just fun to play with.  Pricing has not yet been released, but I’d assume it will slot in well below Windows 7 netbooks.
