Longtime followers of mobile technology need no introduction to James Kendrick. From his storied days as JK on the Run to his current gig as the fastest-starting blogger in ZDNet history, James has been “…using mobile devices since they weighed 30 lbs,” as he likes to put it.

As such, I’m thrilled that when Jon and I bumped into James at HP’s webOS event a few weeks back, we got on to the subject of how – now that we’d finally met in person – it’d be great to do some kind of collaboration. Maybe something as simple as a weekly conversation, talking tech, recorded and uploaded like a podcast. We could just turn the computers on, launch Skype, fire up Call Recorder, and go. Upload it to YouTube, distribute it via these pages and James’ blog, and see if it sticks to the wall.

So we did.

“Good to Go,” with me and the esteemed James Kendrick. Episode #1: Talking Tablets.

We’ll figure it out as we go, but we know we’ll be doing it once a week, talking about whatever’s hot in tech at the time. Questions? Comments? Suggestions? You know what to do.
