Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite Hands-On! (Gallery and Video)

Huawei introduced its original MediaPad earlier this year and, now, it has launched a watered-down version of the device. The tablet runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by a 1.2GHz processor. We like the aluminum unibody design, which reminded us a lot of the HTC Flyer, but weren’t too blown away by the specs. The display wasn’t very sharp and it doesn’t offer HDMI-out, as the original MediaPad 7 does.

We’re guessing this is Huawei’s answer to the Nexus 7 and the Kindle Fire, although we’re pretty sure it’s too little too late.
