HTC EVO 4G – Hands On

It takes a lot to get us excited here at TB, but the HTC EVO 4G has us drooling in anticipation.  Slated for a summer release on Sprint, this 4G packing monster is the smartphone the world has been waiting for.  Running a Snapdragon 1Ghz processor, the EVO boasts a 4.3″ capacitive touchscreen, an 8 megapixel camera on the back (capable of HD video) and a front facing 1.3 megapixel sensor for video calling, all sitting on Android 2.1.  For those of you wondering what the big deal is, the real secret to the device is in it’s 4G radio, which is capable of speeds up to 10X’s faster than the current 3G networks.  We may finally have true mobile broadband in our pockets.  Who’s holding out for this bad boy?
