Insert bad pun here: Arrive has arrived. The first CDMA Windows Phone 7 device, HTC’s Arrive, hits Sprint on March 20, for $199.99 on contract. A $10/month Premium Data charge is required, too. Along with CDMA support, Arrive brings with it long-awaited WP7 Copy and Paste functionality – something that should go a long way (decent way, at least) towards the platform’s maturity.
Arrive features a 3.6-inch WVGA multitouch display, slide out-and-tilt five row QWERTY keyboard, 5MP camera with high-def video capture, and both 3G and WiFi data connectivity. I’ve only just unboxed the device, but it feels very much like an HTC QWERTY phone: Great keyboard, solid build, a little bit thick and chunky compared to its uber-thin, touchscreen only competitors.
Check out the unboxing video now, and stay tuned for much more after I get my hands on the Sprint HTC Arrive for a little bit longer.
