Hisense EG960 Android Smartphone Hands-On

by Aaron Baker | January 11, 2013

Hisense showed up at CES 2013 with several new Android smartphones. Like TCL, it’s not exactly a household name when it comes to mobile devices. Still, we figured we would stop by and film a couple to keep you in the loop. The Hisense EG960 packs a slightly tweaked version of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 4GB of storage, a 5-megapixel camera, a 2,000mAh battery but, oddly, no front-facing camera.┬áIt runs on a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and also features dual-SIM capabilities so that users can add two phone numbers to one phone and share it.

Hisense didn’t say when the EG960 will launch, or where, but we expect it to hit the market at a budget-friendly price soon.
