Google Nexus 7 Unboxing (Video): Big Specs, Low Price

Months of anticipation and hype has culminated in the Nexus 7. At Google’s I/O conference on Wednesday, the Mountain View company finally unveiled its fabled Tegra 3 tablet, and we couldn’t be more excited to see how the “Made for Google Play” device handles. Without a doubt, this is designed to be a media consuming machine: quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8 our 16GB of internal storage, and 7-inch (1280 x 800) IPS display. As such, it’s a device that is no doubt aimed at taking on the Kindle Fire, not so much on specs alone, but ecosystem. Will the Nexus 7 manage to lure potential (or current) Fire owners over to Google Play? That remains to be seen.
