If you own a Galaxy Note II, chances are you want to know how it stacks up against the Galaxy Note 3. We’ve already provided a breakdown of the specs on paper, so in this video we’ll show you exactly what they look like side by side, and give you an overview of some of the big changes. Speaking of big, the Note 3 offers a lot of improvements.
First, its display is 0.2-inches larger. As you’ll see in the video, however, the slimmer bezels actually help make it so that the device doesn’t feel too much bigger. In fact, it’s even lighter than the Note II. There’s also a different software experience. Samsung did a lot to improve the S Pen and everything you can do with it, and the Galaxy Note 3 also launches with Android 4.3 out of the box. Toss in 3GB of storage vs. 2GB in the Galaxy Note 2 and a faster processor and you have a pretty solid upgrade.
Check out how the two devices compare in our video above. Oh, and note how Samsung actually moved away from the plastic back on the Galaxy Note 3!
