BlackBerry Z10 Unboxing and First Impressions

We rushed home from BlackBerry’s event today with a fresh BlackBerry Z10 review unit in hand and quickly unboxed it. Now, bear with me here, Jon is out traveling so I unboxed it in my apartment and will send him the unit for his full video review. In the meantime, we’re really impressed with what we see so far. The user interface is really quick and smooth, but we didn’t install many applications just yet. The phone itself feels pretty solid, but it doesn’t have the incredible industrial build feeling that the iPhone 5 offers.

Still, this phone was built for BlackBerry fans, and I’m pleased to report that BBM looks pretty solid, there are plenty of new features to explore, there are more than 70,000 applications already available and the keyboard rocks.

We’re going to bring you a deep dive into BlackBerry 10 and the Z10 in the coming days, so stay tuned for more. Oh, and we’ll be posting a quick look at the BlackBerry Q10 later this afternoon, too.
