Beyond stock apps on Android: What are some of the alternatives you’re using?

Google offers some of the best apps and services on the market but chances are you still use third-party alternatives. Luckily, the Google Play store is full of millions of choices, including substitutes for Gmail, Messages, and more. And, as we’ve covered in the past, nothing beats a powerful launcher.

Jon goes into much more detail about his apps of choice. For the purposes of this video, we covered four key areas: email, messages, calendar, and to-do. While Google already has stock options for each, you might not find Gmail all that intuitive or Google Keep particularly powerful. Below are some of the alternatives Jon uses on his daily driver.
