Ask the Buffalo: Samsung Smart TV Edition

I’m headed down to Burbank on a jet plane today to check out Samsung’s new Smart TV lineup. Between 3D capabilities, online video, Android apps, and a crazy new “borderless” design, there’s a lot going on with Sammy’s new flat panels, or so it would seem.

But since I’m going to be spending the day immersed in the land of Samsung viewing technology, I want to make sure I’m ready to ask them the right questions. So I turn it over to you, like we do here at the Buffalo: Is there anything you want to know about Samsung’s new TVs, or the TV and home theater industries in general? Is 3D really the next big thing? Are online video services poised to kill cable? Will we see a big drop in HDTV prices before this December?

Whatever it is you want to know about Samsung’s TV strategy, specifically, and the TV industry in general (no, not how to get on American Family – the industry of building and selling TVs), let me know in the comments and I’ll find a way to ask during Thursday’s media day. And if you don’t hear back from me, it means I got caught trying to sneak a 65-inch flat panel out by hiding it in my hoodie.
