Apple Watch games: These are the games we’re playing

Smartwatches are vessels for notification overload. They let you screen and address emails, phone calls, and texts as necessary, all without needing to take your phone out of your pocket. The market is growing, and growing fast. And while most people will consider a wearable for its productivity potential, there’s one very specific use we can’t forget about: games.

Sure, gaming on your watch is completely and utterly useless. It pretty much undoes all the advancements we’ve seen in the mobile industry. But that still doesn’t discount how fun gaming on your wrist can be. When you’re done sending heartbeats to your bestie, and you’ve collected all the apps necessary for a productive day, why not take a break and play some games on your Apple Watch?

There are actually a lot of games available for Apple’s wearable already, and many of them are really cool, too. With that in mind, we considered a handful of games that make sense on such a tiny screen. Most of these are word or trivia-based, so they’re easy to pick up and play for any skill level. Believe me, I suck at trivia, but even I am capable of getting through a few Trivia Crack rounds.

Check out what games we chose as games to try out on the Apple Watch. And, if you haven’t already, check out some of our other Apple Watch videos, which we’ve linked to below.
