verizon-stratosphere-iiThe limited QWERTY market is on life support, yet it’s still proudly trudging along. With touch-only devices getting bigger, and more popular, by the month, it’s a wonder there’s still a market for those who prefer the physical button. But there are customers out there, waiting. Waiting for devices like the Stratosphere II on Verizon.

A Verizon equipment guide reveals the device in all its QWERTY glory: 4-inch Super AMOLED display and LTE. Beyond that, it’s unclear what specs the Samsung device will come equipped with.

In addition to the smallish slider, Verizon will also reportedly offer the LG Spectrum 2, which Engadget suggests is the U.S. version of the Optimus LTE II. If so, consumers can expect some sort of variation of a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4, 4.7-inch True HD IPS 720p display and Ice Cream Sandwich.

With the two both showing up in Verizon’s equipment guides, we’ll likely hear about the devices from a more official source in the coming days or weeks. More mid-range fodder to contend with devices like the Galaxy S III.
