As we approach the release date of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, it looks like Sony and Naughty Dog just held a large preview event for the title. As such, fresh screenshots and a lengthy gameplay clip have surfaced.

The clip, which sits directly below, features 16 minutes of gameplay. There’s driving, fighting and exploration, and it’s clear that the world of Uncharted 4 is much more open than what we’ve had in previous titles.

It looks straight up gorgeous, folks. Here’s what the PlayStation Blog says about all that openness.

First things first: the scope of Uncharted 4’s gameplay and exploration appears to be far, far larger than prior games in the series. Naughty Dog is describing this new approach as “wide linear,” and it allows for more freewheeling navigation without sacrificing the narrative-driven pacing the studio is famous for. Compared to past Uncharted games, Uncharted 4’s world feels truly huge and, well, uncharted.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is slated to hit the PlayStation 4 on May 10, 2016. We’ll have more on the game as it comes.
