Capcom has set the date for the PlayStation 4 version of Ultra Street Fighter IV through the PlayStation Blog. This port will be the ultimate console version, bringing every iteration of every character with every color scheme made to this point, not to mention every level and every DLC pack, to the ranks of “next-gen.”

All this can be yours on May 26 for $24.99. Only as a digital download though. Capcom is not doing a physical release.

In addition to the content, this PlayStation 4 port of Ultra Street Fighter IV also fixes that annoying input lag that was present in the PlayStation 3 version of the game. Now you’ll never be five microseconds behind when counting your pixels, pro-fighters.

No word on an Xbox One version yet, but I wonder if it is going to happen. Street Fighter V has been confirmed to be a PlayStation 4 exclusive because Sony threw all kinds of money at it. Perhaps that deal extends to all Street Fighter games this generation.

Outside studio Other Ocean Interactive is putting the final touches on the game, and Ultra Street Fighter IV can be yours for the PlayStaton 4 on May 26.
