South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker lead off what winds up being a four minute featurette surrounding the development of South Park: The Stick of Truth.
Something tells us, of course, that the tumultuous development time and THQ’s bankruptcy could have pushed this making of feature into a much longer and more dynamic film, but that’s okay. We’ll take this little behind the scenes video at face value.
The clip shows what Stone and Parker wanted out of a true and genuine South Park game, namely one that looks exactly like the show. And, thank goodness, it looks like Obsidian is on the precipice of delivering exactly that experience. I know that the preview I saw a few months back gave of that vibe, so here’s hoping it translates to the final version of the title.
After a few delays, a lot of promise and perhaps too much hype, South Park: The Stick of Truth is slated to release on March 4, 2014. It will hit the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms. Will you be picking it up?
