The Dave Chappelle Show was probably one of my favorite shows when it aired in the early 2000s, and it remains one of my favorites to this day. Chappelle took a break from most of his comedy between 2006 and 2013, however, which means some people coming of age during that time might not be familiar with his genius. Now they can be.

Chappelle is coming back and will have two new specials hit Netflix on March 21. The news was revealed earlier this week in a teaser published by Netflix to YouTube (included below) which shows Chappelle smoking a cigarette, features some of his jokes running in the background, and then drops the debut date of March 21.

Two shows

"The specials are from Chappelle's personal vault: Dave Chappelle: The Age of Spin, was filmed at The Palladium in Los Angeles in March 2016, and Dave Chappelle: Deep in the Heart of Texas, was filmed at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater in Austin, TX in April 2015," Netflix said in an email. "Both specials will premiere on the same night — Tuesday, March 21, exclusively on Netflix. Within each of the two hour-long specials, self-financed by Chappelle and directed by Stan Lathan, the Emmy®-nominated comedian brings his unflinching comedic style, tackling race, class, politics, pop culture, and more."

I can't wait.
