During the 2012 Pocono 400 NASCAR race this afternoon, Twitter ran an ad featuring driver Brad Keselowski as he tweeted a picture from inside his car.  As you can see in the ad above, it ended with a new easier path to seeing everything being discussed on a hashtag by going to an address similar to TWITTER.COM/#NASCAR.

While seeing hastags show up everywhere on television these days, this is the first time this new URL has appeared that anyone can seem to remember.  It makes sense that Twitter kick this off with NASCAR as the two companies currently have a promotional agreement in place.

Now if Twitter could just get some advertising sold on its own service.
