As the Smosh Games team on YouTube so regularly does, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater has been roasted in the Honest Game Trailers series.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 released this week for then PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. This Honest Game Trailer has been done up to mark that release, but it doesn’t really feature commentary specifically about the newest game in the franchise. I imagine, based on what I’ve heard and seen so far of Tony Hawk 5, that the commentary for the newest entry wouldn’t be all that pleasant.

Instead, Smosh Games takes a look at the franchise’s history. They cover the glory days, and they even move into the era of super awkward peripherals and a release structure that mirrors Call of Duty.

Yeah, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater is nothing like it used to be. Growing up, this franchise dominated sleepovers, after school gaming sessions and weekend mornings. Now? It’s sort of a joke, isn’t it?

Have you played Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 yet? Is it any good? Or, should we be avoiding it like the plague?
