After teasing a reveal on their Twitter feed Monday, Respawn Entertainment made good on the promise and gave us a launch date for their eagerly-awaited mech shooter.

Titanfall will release in the US on March 11, 2014 and two days later – March 13 – in Europe. It will hit the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.

In addition to the standard release, Titanfall is getting a pretty awesome collector’s edition, shown below, which will retail for $249.99 (that’s half an Xbox One, if you measure things in video games). It includes an 18″ titan statue with LED lighting and a 190-page art book. I want that mech statue so bad.

“The feedback we’re getting from fans around the world is fueling our team as we head towards March and motivating us to deliver an experience that lives up to the hype,” said Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella.

Titanfall is, without a doubt, the most anticipated title on Xbox One, and a solid release date lets launch day buyers know they won’t have to wait long.

Respawn is already accepting pre-orders on all three platforms for both the standard and collector’s editions on their website.
