Respawn’s hosting a free weekend for Titanfall 2’s multiplayer on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. It’s on now, and you’ll have access to online play and even a single player mission.

If you’re looking for some handy links to get to your platform’s marketplace, Respawn’s got your back in a tweet. Here’s that.

Titanfall 2 demands your attention

In a move that most would mark as born out of pure hubris, EA and Respawn actively chose to launch Titanfall 2 the week directly between Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The game dropped, was met with tremendous reviews and immediately floundered at retail.

Quite frankly, it didn’t stand a chance.

It’s a great game, though, and the multiplayer is fast and intense. The single player campaign? Also outstanding. I reviewed Titanfall 2 for our site here, and I came away extremely impressed with the sophomore effort.

If you have free time this weekend and are looking for something to play, Titanfall 2 is an obvious pickup. Give it a shot, you might fall in love.
