Titanfall 2 launches next week. The game will sell for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 28.

With the release so close, Respawn and EA posted an “Official Single Player Gameplay Trailer.” It features our hero Jack and his sidekick BT. BT is short for the Vanguard class Titan BT-7274.

The full clip checks in at 1:51, and it features pilot and titan gameplay.

Titanfall 2‘s campaign means a lot to fans of the original.

I loved Titanfall. Respawn promised some epic story moments in the game’s “campaign” before release; but, all we got were the same maps with dialogue spoken over radio during play. It was, in a word, underwhelming.

With Titanfall 2, Respawn is once again promising a wonderful campaign. Only this time, they’ve gone and made a proper, separate mode. There should be downtime, actual pacing and character development.

It should, you know, be a real story.

Which is great! I was ho-hum on the multiplayer stress test. That’s supposedly been addressed since the trial ran. The single player campaign, though, is something I’m exceedingly excited for.

Stay tuned for more.
