Need a smarter watch? Although the latest round of Android Wear devices are becoming more elegant, sometimes all you want is a classic timepiece. And what’s more classic than a Timex?

The watchmaker on Thursday officially unveiled a new fitness-tracking watch that retains its classic flavor. And the best part about of it is Timex’s fashionable new watches are affordable. You’d expect that from a company that’s been in the watch-making game for over 160 years.

Known as the Metropolitan+, the device uses Bluetooth technology to connect to an app on your phone (iOS or Android), and tracks things like steps, distance and calories burned. Your stats will be displayed right on the watch face with a separate dial, so you can quickly check your progress at a glance.

The Metropolitan+ will come in two styles: one with a silver-tone case, a black dial with red accents, and a textured leather strap; the other will feature a black case with black dial and orange accents. Both are beautiful and will go well with any outfit, though it’s strange there isn’t an option with a white dial. Straps include leather, silicone, and nylon, or you can just use a watch strap of your own.

Both models feature Timex’s INDIGLO night-light, so you’ll be able to peep the time even when it’s pitch black. I’ve been using the Withings Activité over the past several months, and I love it, but I can’t tell you how annoying it is that it doesn’t have a night-light.

The Metropolitan+ with silver-tone case will retail for $125, while the black models will cost $150.
