Jet Set Radio HD had a small presence on the PAX East 2012 show floor this year. The game is playable for fans, if you don’t mind waiting in the brief line that seems to constantly accompany it.

The game feels like a freshened up version of what it once was. The dual stick play, for instance, was spot on.

The game retains 70% of its originally licensed music. For fans of the original, this is outstanding news. The recent remakes of titles like Crazy Taxi and the absence of their best music was a big downer for retro Sega fans.

It’s Jet Set Radio, folks, in HD. It will launch for the XBLA, PSN and Steam platforms this summer.
