Let's be honest: you don't always use your phone for productivity and communication. You also use it play games. I'm guilty. A smartphone just wouldn't be a smartphone without a folder full of your favorite titles. I'm still on a Threes kick.

Over the past several years, mobile gaming has evolved in a big way, producing some truly incredible content. Stuff that developers might not have otherwise released if not for Google Play and iOS app stores; in that sense, mobile gaming is a great opportunity for people to share their art and passions, a platform accessible to almost anyone. As a result, some truly remarkable games have been released, three of which we'll highlight today.

For the purposes of this video, we'll be checking out three free Android games on the brand new LG G Flex 2, which is running Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 800 series processor. As you can imagine, games look pretty phenomenal on this beastly device, and run without a hitch (as they should).

There's a whole wild world of free (and freemium) games available for both iOS and Android, so this in no way encompasses the entire industry. These are simply three games we're enjoying at this very moment; if you have some suggestions of games to try, let us know. We also have a video coming up that will share some of our favorite paid games, so look out for that.

Curious to see what we're playing? Check out the video above, and let us know if there's anything we should try out.
