One of the biggest changes in Thor: Ragnarok is Thor loses the long locks we’ve grown accustomed to seeing in previous Marvel movies—at least until Avengers 4 rolls along, because his flowing mane will apparently make a return.
A few eagle-eyed fans who spotted the production of the movie in New York managed to snap some pictures of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark (no Iron Man suit) and Chris Hemsworth as Thor. Sure, Tony has his signature goatee and Thor is in his usual Asgardian attire complete with the red cape, but the most striking visual is the return of his long hair.https://twitter.com/bonjourlapeen/status/926123315751800832?ref_src=twsr... https://twitter.com/ahsokathanos/status/926121177667522561?ref_src=twsrc...
How did Thor go from short hair to long locks that fast? We don’t know. That’s mostly because we’re not sure how much time will have elapsed from Thor: Ragnarok to Avengers 4. It should also be noted that early talk from the Comic Con trailer for Avengers: Infinity War suggested Thor still has the short hair in the movie.
This may imply that Avengers 3 takes place right after Thor 3 and Avengers 4 takes place some time later. One thing is for sure. A long-haired Thor will make an appearance and we dig it.
For now, we can enjoy the short-haired Thor in Thor: Ragnaork, out in theaters this Friday.
