While Japan and Europe are simply getting a regular edition of the PlayStation 4 with a bigger hard drive and bigger price tag, if you want one here, you’d better want Call of Duty: Black Ops III pretty badly (or be willing to do the upgrade yourself).

Sony has announced, as part of their partnership with Activision, a special edition Call of Duty: Black Ops III PlayStation 4.

The system sports the logo on top in bright orange and four emblems for the game’s different modes across the front of the console.

The controller features bright orange analog sticks and an orange directional pad. While the layout of the controller isn’t quite as horrendous as the one accompanying the Star Wars: Battlefront PlayStation 4, it’s not much better.

If you’re a big fan of Activision’s shooters, then this will be right up your alley at $449 US – that’s $50 extra for double the hard drive space and a game. Not the worst deal. If you already have a PlayStation 4 or aren’t keen on blaze orange, you can of course upgrade your PlayStation 4 hard drive yourself for not much more money. Other 1TB PlayStation 4 systems are sure to follow this one in the coming months.

Incidentally, the first 1TB Xbox One was also Call of Duty themed, after last year’s Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops III limited edition PlayStation 4 hits streets the same day as the game, November 6, when it will also release on PC and Xbox One.
